Earn 500€ per month with internet, review after 6 months

If I told you that it was possible to launch a website and earn in less than 6 months several tens of euros with it, all on a regular basis ? All without being an expert or web marketing guru?

Too good to be true ? However, this is what I managed to put in place and I do not intend to stop on such a good path… To find out how I achieved it and how to do the same on your side, I can only invite you to follow my adventure here and discover the rest in this article…

Earn 500€ per month with internet, review after 6 months

October 2014. After several weeks of studies and research, I decided to launch what is called a niche site. The idea is simple: launch a site in a relatively small and uncompetitive area, then monetize it, to make it a source of additional income (in addition to my salary and my real estate income 🙂). New to the subject and because objectives are necessary to motivate yourself and measure your progress, I had set myself three:

The first gains finally appeared after two months, while the monthly €50 was reached for the first time after five months. But the last level is certainly more difficult…

I knew that the main keyword targeted by my niche site was much more sought after over two periods: November and December, Christmas effect, as well as the month of May. It is clear that this is completely confirmed in this fifth month of the year, with gains up sharply compared to April! A turnover up 250%, just that !

Which means concretely that I have reached and exceeded my last goal, which was to make 100€ per month. In detail, the Amazon affiliation brought me €130.18 while Adsense completed this first amount of €42.09. Or the nice savings of €172.27 for the month of May!

Who says exceptional month says significant drop the following month..

The harder the fall will be… 🙁

Good news, even if the fall is fierce in June, it still allows to maintain the monthly gain above 100€. € 111.46 more to be precise, it’s still taken! However, the summer months will probably be less conducive to maintaining this figure, holidays oblige. We will probably talk about it together in the fall.

No, I’m not going to return to a monthly rhythm for these assessments, a rhythm that seems too fast to present you with results and relevant information… And also because I’m quite simply lazy! 🙂

More visually, the results since the beginning of the year are as follows:

As far as my positions with our friend Google are concerned, I remain firmly in first place on my main keyword . Several secondary keywords with several hundreds or thousands of monthly searches are also well positioned on the first page. No referencing action has been undertaken since the previous report more than two months ago.

From a content perspective, I simply added a few articles (2 or 3) to target new related keywords to take advantage of the lures of the long tail. In short, the site is freewheeling!

And one more passive income! 😉

For the future, not much is planned in reality. The referencing seems (for the moment…) solid and I don’t think to launch additional actions on the subject.

Content-wise, I’m thinking of ordering half a dozen more articles from UpWork (the new name for oDesk for those in the know). The idea is to aim for a few new keywords related to my domain, each showing just a few hundred monthly searches. But little, if any, competition on the first page of Google . The authority acquired by the site should facilitate their correct positioning, all with less effort 🙂 . I hope to start ordering in August.

As mentioned in the previous report, a single site will not allow me to reach €500 in monthly earnings by the end of the year. The idea is therefore to launch several niche sites, with the following ideas in the end:

The SEO actions initiated on one of the sites are beginning to bear fruit. This indeed oscillates between the tenth and the twelfth place on the targeted keyword. He even made a few very punctual passages on the first page of the results. I have high hopes that he will definitely position himself on this one by September. On the gain side, this site brought me a little less than twenty euros over the past two months.

It’s a good start, right? 🙂

The classic listings in some directories have started for some sites, nothing special to report. The content of these same sites has been expanded, with the same approach as for my first site: aim for related and low-competition keywords. I usually start by publishing one article per week, then I slow down to two weeks, …

As for new sites, I mentioned the launch of a new site per month until the end of the year. The objective has been reached and exceeded for May and June with a few new sites under my belt. On the other hand, I eased off in July, where I do not foresee any new launches in the short term.

For July and August, I have set myself two objectives:

As stated, I don’t expect to launch any new sites until September. However, I already have a few themes, keywords and article ideas already identified.

But let’s not confuse speed with precipitation!

There is still a long way to go until you reach €500 in monthly earnings. By the start of the school year, I aim to no longer be exclusively dependent on my first niche site. It’s in a good voice, but we must not relax our efforts. Growth continues at a decent pace, but the target remains very ambitious.

Especially since my time on these projects is not infinite… 🙁

And you, have you taken the plunge? Where are you in your projects and in achieving your goals? Feel free to talk about it in the comments! Another point: if you liked the article, do not hesitate to share it on Facebook, Twitter and others, thank you! 🙂
