The month of January is usually the occasion to propose an assessment of the past year. Successes and failures are thus often on the menu and I will not deviate from this friendly tradition. In addition to this look back in time over the last 365 days, you will also be able to discover the new ambitious objectives that I have set myself for 2016. Of course, it will only be a question here of my “financial” objectives. For my personal goals, I’m going to keep them warm for me 🙂 . Here we go !
I had simply set myself 3 objectives for the past year. Did I manage to reach them all? Nothing is less sure…
As much to put my feet in the dish, I absolutely did not follow the progress of this objective. And I don’t think I’ve reached the figure mentioned, far from it. I should rather be around 150€ to 200€ I think 🙁 . The good news is that I did nothing at all to generate these few revenues, some internet contacts and my circle of acquaintances having made it possible to reach this figure without having to prospect.
I reassure myself as best I can…
I already mentioned in the article on my 2015 objectives that this item would clearly not be my priority, my projects planned for the past year already being announced at the time relatively time-consuming. If this kind of gains was clearly an interesting source of income in 2013 (€1,300 gain) and 2014 (more than €2,000), their one-off nature got the better of my attraction for them.
First ko goal, it starts well 🙁 .
Second objective for the past year, which also promised to be perilous. With big personal projects to finance, I had set the goal at €10,000 with the idea of “moving” towards it , not necessarily reaching it. Well good news (especially for me 🙂 ), the target was still reached. Slightly, but achieved nonetheless.
Three factors play a significant role in the success of this objective:

In October 2014, I launched my first niche site. A few months later, I received my first tens of euros thanks to this one.
And also thanks to the magic of Christmas and compulsive shopping online…
In short, very proud of these few euros back in my pocket, I set myself the ambitious goal of earning 500 per month by the end of the year. If you follow me, you know that this figure was reached and exceeded last October. Year-end figures, not presented (yet?) on the blog, confirmed this trend. We will probably have the opportunity to talk about it again together.
It was my priority objective for the year 2015, so I am very happy to have achieved it. And it shows that starting from almost nothing, with a very small initial investment (domain name, host), it is possible to automatically generate several hundred euros each month . Pretty cool, right?
For 2016, I have set myself four new objectives. Finally when I say new, I’m exaggerating a bit and you’ll see that some will have a little taste of deja-vu…
This objective is the counterpart of that of the past years. Nothing special to report on this one, except that again some personal projects are likely to make it more difficult to achieve. But like last year, it is above all a question of forcing me to keep this target in mind to avoid scattering myself in useless expenses!
Here again, this is a goal very similar to that of last year except that… Except that the amount to be reached is 5 times higher than that of 2015! It is therefore a question of generating, thanks to the internet, the tidy sum of €2,500 per month. Small precision all the same: it is about 2 500€ of turnover , no profits…
To reach this figure, I will have to work twice as hard. And even more, to define myself objectives and intermediate actions in a more precise way than last year. Macroscopically, I intend to use several levers to succeed in this ambitious mission:

Writing like this, it looks like I’m going to set up a startup and that in a few less thousands of euros will be pouring in! 🙂 But there is nothing (well not yet 😉 ). This is about creating my own business, for two main reasons:
And no, it is not the status of auto-entrepreneur (micro-entrepreneur since 01/01/2016 it seems to me) that will have my favors. Again, I’ll probably talk about it in a future post if you’re interested in the subject.
For 2016, I have set myself a fourth objective. Somehow, this one is in the continuity of my objectives of the past years. In 2014, I embarked on rental investment to obtain a first additional income. In 2015, I started in niche sites, with this same idea in mind. So I had to find a new source for 2016, right? 🙂
