My first niche site #6, new goal achieved!

The second month of the year has now been completed for several days. How about a little review of the progress and progress recorded on my first niche site? I’m thinking of making a shorter post than the previous ones. The main actions having already been launched in the previous months, my activity around this first site has been greatly reduced. My goal for the end of the year 2015, namely to generate €100 automatically with this project, has not yet been reached. But the base is there, so I have fewer materials to offer you. But rest assured, I will continue to share the important changes and figures on the subject in complete transparency !

Because my little finger tells me that you appreciate these figures… After all, we are on a blog dealing with finances!

This article covers the month of February 2015. This niche site project is now five months old.

If you want to read the other articles in this series, go to this page.

In order to facilitate the reading of this item, I will henceforth divide this part into three parts. Even if it will sometimes be difficult to completely separate these:

Nothing special to report. I mentioned in January the idea of publishing two articles on the period. In the end, three articles appeared on the site. These new articles target keywords with low search volume and low competition. Some of these articles also target keywords that include the notion of purchase, with the idea of bringing more qualified traffic to the site. Finally, I also added content on my main article, but I will come back to this a little further down.

I had to launch a second link campaign by contacting new sites associated with the targeted theme. I had started to list the webmasters to contact. And since…. Nothing 🙁 . I haven’t made any progress on this item. This is only a postponement.

Lack of time, no doubt. It’s up to me to organize myself better!

I also wanted to improve SEO on certain secondary keywords where I was on the second page of Google results. A few comments were posted here and there and external links were added in some articles. Some progress has been made on certain keywords now arriving in 10th place, but I must continue to settle permanently on the first page.

I started last January to identify this item. How can I improve my conversion rate and therefore earn more money for an equivalent number of visitors ? I had added a widget accessible in the side menu of the site and visible on all the pages of the site.

In February, several adjustments were made in this regard:

Let’s move on to the most concrete part: the numbers! But before diving into the figures for the month of February, I’m going to ask you for a little help to make the blog better known around you. Thanks in advance ! 🙂

For the coming month, no change to be expected in my strategy.

For articles, I intend to publish two new ones in March. As of now, the first one has already been posted.

On the SEO side, I still have to launch my second link acquisition campaign . I should have time to launch it in March. I also need to continue to progress on the referencing of a few secondary keywords.

I do not plan to take any action this month to improve my conversion rate. I expect to have a little perspective on the things implemented in February. I will then adjust based on feedback for this full month.

Like last month, let’s end with a little bonus.

I mentioned in January having launched a second niche site with a similar approach. I have not adjusted the content of the latter for the month of February. In addition to the classic subscriptions to a few directories, I launched two link campaigns. The site has thus clearly progressed since it now oscillates between 31 and 36th place . To be continued.

And that’s it, it’s over for this review of the month of February! It remains to be confirmed and try to improve all this in the coming weeks. In a few months of work, I managed to create a new source of income approaching a passive income . Admittedly, the amount won is still modest. But starting from an assumption of €30 to €50 in earnings per month, this still represents €360 to €600 over a full year. All without providing additional effort or almost. And as you know if you’ve read my annual objectives for 2015, I don’t intend to stop there, with a wish to earn €500 per month by the end of the year with my websites. Yes, the road is still long. But the challenge promises to be interesting to take up!
