It’s been two months since I published a review for my first niche site. Blame it on a somewhat complicated schedule and work related to my business projects on the internet. But I will come back to this in the rest of the article 🙂 . If the previous reviews only focused on my first niche site, I decided to slightly change the format for several reasons:

Since the previous report, corresponding to the month of February, two months have passed. I continued my SEO work, getting new links here and there to my main page or to certain other pages on the site that I wanted to see go up in Google rankings.
In March, €57.47 was added to my earnings through Amazon affiliation. In the very last days of the month and following the remarks of some blogger friends, I decided to set up some Adsense advertising to test. The month of April will therefore serve as a benchmark, to see what it is possible to gain by this new leverage on this niche site and to see if this does not cannibalize affiliate sales.
So what to give this month of April? On the affiliation side, I was able to count on a €50.50 gain thanks to Amazon. Adsense made it possible to complete this small sum of €16.99, i.e. a gain over the month of €67.49 . The numbers therefore continue to progress in the right direction :). As a reminder, I aim to reach 100€ with this site by the last quarter of the year.
I’m not there yet, but I’m getting there!

Last significant point: it is also in the last days of March that the site reached the first place on the keyword that I was aiming for . It will therefore have taken a little less than 6 months to reach this position, and even more so to maintain it throughout the month of April. The first days of May saw the site lose its lead, let’s hope it’s only temporary 🙁!
For the weeks and months to come, I have several ideas in mind. First of all, I need to optimize my conversion rate so that more visitors go on to purchase . My tests conducted so far have not been really conclusive 🙁 . I have other ideas to launch and study to try to improve this point. For the Adsense part, I am continuing the test for the month of May with a new layout for advertisements. The idea here is also to see if it is possible to improve the click-through rate on the advertisements displayed.
Finally, I still plan to publish two or three articles in the coming weeks, before pausing on the publication of content.
These are the words that might cross your mind. Yes, I haven’t told you everything about my projects in recent months. Because to earn €500 per month by the end of December 2015, I will have to invest myself more, launch projects and try new methods and approaches . And so I started to advance a few pawns here and there to do everything possible to achieve the objective I had set myself.
Which explains in particular why, in addition to my personal projects, I haven’t been very available in recent weeks.
Because I can’t rely solely on my first niche site, it would be too simple. And as with every project, it’s important not to put all your eggs in one basket. Indeed, it would be a shame to lose everything overnight if your project were to flounder . It is this approach that I also want to follow for niche sites, multiplying them quickly.
But concretely, what have I been doing lately? You guessed it, I worked to launch new sites, following an approach similar to that used for the first one. I have outsourced most of the content writing this time around, to focus on:
Of course, the results are not yet there and we will have to wait a few months before harvesting, I hope, the fruits of this work. However, there are some encouraging signs:
On these niche sites, I plan to continue to work on their referencing, with the idea of effectively improving their positioning in Google search results . I don’t plan to add any content on these, except on one of them.
Always with the objective of reaching 500€ per month, I aim to launch a new niche site per month .

Indeed, I want to pursue diversification and I want to amplify the snowball effect. Let me explain: my first niche site bringing me a small regular income, I reinvest the sums earned in these new sites. It’s sort of the same principle as compound interest. The objective is therefore to quickly multiply the sites to multiply the income .
Apart from niche sites, I also have other ideas to test and put in place to make money on the internet. I will probably come back to it once the first results come in…
To succeed in earning this half-thousand euros each month, the road is still long. I am at €346.80… counting all my earnings since the beginning of the year ! Yes, there is still a long way to go… 🙂
But I am confident. I actually went from just over €50 in earnings in January to around a hundred euros at the end of April, or almost 100% growth in one quarter . I still have to do what is necessary for it to continue in this direction, so I cross my fingers! 🙂
